The waiting period is calculated on the basis of the semesters since obtaining the university entrance qualification. There is no offsetting of any kind of waiting time against the average grade!
Applicants with a good average grade and a long waiting period will of course only receive one place, even if they would get places on both lists due to their qualifications.
Vocational training and periods of service are already taken into account in the waiting time calculation or ranking. They do not constitute grounds for applications for hardship or compensation for disadvantages.
