4.6 HIS Online Portal (QIS)[]

The HIS online portal (QIS) offers you the possibility to view and, if necessary, change all personal and study-related information.

4.6.1 Importance of QIS[]

QIS portal gives one access to:

General Administration:
- Activation of THL-IT Account
- Change of contact information
- Editing of password
Administration of Study:
- View charges account i.e semester fee paid for current semester and its breakdown; semester fee for the coming semester and its beakdown as well as bank details for semester fee payment.
- Study reports for present and past semesters. These certificates of study can be downloaded in pdf format
Administration of Examinations
This opens four options namely:
- Exam Registration/Deregistration
- List of registered Exams: You can view a list of all exams registered for which can be downloaded as pdf for records.
- List of deregistered Exams: You can view a list of all cancelled exams which can be downloaded as pdf for records.
- Transcript of Records: here you can view your study “history” or progress; view your grades, credit points and download your transcript of records.

4.6.2 Registration[]

You can reach the HIS online portal (QIS) at https://qis.th-luebeck.de
Here you log in with the user data of your THL-IT account (matriculation number+password).
Upon successful login, your personal details will appear on the top men bar and administration menu o the left of the screen.
Choose the relevant menu as deemed fit : i.e
- General administration
- Administration of study
- Administration of exams
- Edit Password
- Logout

4.6.3 Examination Registration/De-registration[]

Examinations registration and de-registration is done on the QIS portal. Choose the exam you wish to register for / or cancel your registration from the list below by clicking onto it. Make sure to select the exam from the correct account.
If you are not sure about the correct selection, ask in your department.

Steps[]

Log into your [ https://qis.th-luebeck.de/ QIS Account] with your username and password
Select Administration of study. This opens four options namely
Exam Registration/De-registration
List of registered Exams
List of de-registered Exams
Transcript of Records

Registration for exams[]

Under Administration of Exams, select Exam Registration/De-registration as need be and follow the on-screen instructions.
From the list of your available courses, select the exams for which you want to register/de-register
Click the green button “registration of exam” to register or the red button”cancel registration of exam” to de-register.
You will receive an email confirmation of successful registration/de-registration.
