Lübeck is called the City of the Seven Spires for a reason: visit one of the six churches in the city center and enjoy the 360° degree view of the city from the top of St. Peter's 50 metre-high viewing platform.

THE highlight of the year is the popular Christmas Market. Have a browse through the decorated streets of the city center and stroll along the stalls offering mulled wine, delicious sausages, roasted chestnuts and herbal sweets.
Every year in November, the Nordic Film Days invite film enthusiasts to explore films from the Scandinavian and Baltic countries as well as from North Germany. In summer, cultural festivals like HanseKultur Festival, the Schleswig-Holstein Music festival and the Duckstein Festival or the Jazz Baltica show you Lübeck’s cultural variety.
For shopping lovers, the small shops in the Hüxstraße and Fleischhauerstraße invite you to explore their arts and crafts products. Bigger department stores and international brands are available in Königsstraße and Breite Straße or in the two shopping malls Citti Park and LUV center, located in the outskirts of Lübeck. Both can be easily reached by public transportation.
